      The-Dawn

Music: Bob Williston (BMI)

To go deeper in the night.

To sink beyond it is right.

Deep within the within of things.

Deep within the within.

Ancient portals bow your heads.

Majestic music rise in strains.

Minds of men be awed indeed

or miss the many splendored thing . . .

To go deeper . . .

Ancient portals . . .

      Peace-In-The-City

Music & Lyrics: Bob Williston (BMI)

Peace has come to the city,

Now, it’s written on its face.

Everyone is sleepin’ now,

at rest in night’s embrace.

But I walk hand in hand with you

and understand that I am not alone.

No your face I can see

In the shadows of early mornin’

and your smile is soft and gentle

and you wink a sparkling love’s eye.

I know why you’re with me,

‘cause you love me like a flower

Blooming up and up

towards the heavenly skies

And though the world is covered

with a blanket of the night

I walk with the light.

Peace has come to the city, now,

It’s written on its face.

Everyone is sleepin’ now,

it’s written on its face.

Everyone is sleepin’ now,

at rest in night’s embrace.

But I walk hand in hand with you

and understand that I am not alone

and there’s peace in the city now.

Peace in the city now.

      Blue-Boy

Music: Bob Williston (BMI)

Blue mountain, blue-sky, blue boy walking by with his face hung low to the ground…

Alone, see the gates of hell writhing, chanting in a fantasy of delight,

Cries and tears but it is night.

A flight to nowhere but a void.

Communion, it has been destroyed.

Two naked stakes in the night.

Two naked stakes involve in flight

With nothing in between

but incomprehension and the obscene.

Blue mountain . . .

To care has long ago disappeared.

To give is loss and so it is feared.

Perhaps there’ll be an end to this night.

Perhaps there’ll be a dawning of light

Perhaps there’ll be a meeting of the hearts.

Perhaps we won’t be so far apart!

Blue mountain . . .

“Is this but a dream of aching bones

the restless heart of youth intones?”

“Is ‘Echo’ the doom of every man,

to live and never really understand?”
